Home of the 2020 Build Good Summit

DATES

SUMMIT
Thursday May 4th and Friday, May 5th, 2023
8:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m.

LOCATION

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights
85 Israel Asper Way
Winnipeg, MB

As the world's first museum dedicated to human rights, the CMHR is centred around the idea that respect and understanding of human rights can serve as a positive force for change in the world.

accessibility

The entire conference takes place on the ground-floor level.

The Accessible Drop-off Entrance has four parking stalls and brings visitors right to the doors of the Museum. Additional accessible parking can be found along Israel Asper Way.

All Museum entrances are accessible to people using wheeled devices and people who prefer to avoid stairs. An Accessible Drop-off Entrance allows passengers to be dropped off in close proximity to entry doors.

Multiple washrooms are available on every gallery level. This includes at least one large, accessible, gender-neutral, barrier-free, single-room washroom on levels 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7.

An elevator stops at all gallery levels. All galleries can be accessed through a series of inclined ramps with resting spots at regular intervals.

parking

There is plenty of public parking available at metered lots around the Museum.

FOOD

The conference price includes coffee and snacks.

You can buy lunch at the cafe at the venue—or bring your own and enjoy it on the outdoor patio. The Forks — a historic Winnipeg site and market — is a 5-minute walk from the conference with a huge variety of food, craft beer and drink choices.
